This thought personally appears somewhere in early October and sits in my head until about April. I, like many people, do not like cold. I don’t know why, either from the features of blood circulation, or for other reasons, but I’m freezing. Of course, I like the snowball, a small frost, snowdrifts – in general, a real winter. But I want to dress warmer, take a walk, look at this splendor and return home, in comfort, to warmth. But with this (with warmth) everything is not always smooth.
It is cold in apartments and houses. I know this, because by the kind of work I am visiting different people. Often I see how they are wrapped in warm sweaters and socks, because the temperature barely reaches 16 degrees. This is especially common in panel five -story buildings and nine -story buildings.
Why is this happening? Not always the reason – not warm batteries enough. On the contrary, the batteries are sometimes very warm. The cause of the cold is the external walls. Thin, often with cracks, walls are the cause of not only cold in apartments, but also damp, and with it such an unpleasant phenomenon as mold.
And this year, many save on heating due to significantly rise in tariffs. In general, it will be difficult with warmth in houses.
What to do? The way out, in my opinion, is only one: insulation of the outer walls. This will solve several problems at once. Firstly, the house will be warmer! The insulated facades hold heat well, the walls do not miss the cold, which means that you can enjoy a comfortable temperature. And not only in winter, but in the summer, because the insulated walls retain cool in hot weather.
Secondly, savings. It will be possible to pay 60% less for heat, and this at the current tariffs is a very significant amount.
Thirdly, dampness will disappear. Therefore, residents of the house or apartment will hurt less.
Fourthly, the microclimate in the room will improve. Humidity and temperature will become optimal, drafts will decrease. Of course, insulation of facades of houses is not cheap pleasure. But, having done it only once, you will receive all the advantages listed above for many years. In European countries, where the outer walls have been engaged in insulation for a long time, the life of the facade structures is at least 30 years. This means that people who warm the walls of their houses take care not only about themselves, but also about children and grandchildren.
Now I know that my dream of warmth is quite real in winter. It remains to insulate the facade and enjoy warmth and comfort in the house.
